Welcome

to

Labyrinth for Peace

Hours: Sunrise to 9pm

Everyone is invited to walk our Labyrinth. We encourage you to walk the labyrinth for peace and wisdom for yourself, your loved ones, our community, nation, and world.

On special occasions, we will host community labyrinth walks.  Some will be contemplative and quiet. Others will be upbeat at night and people can dance through the labyrinth lights in celebration of all of the gifts we have in this life.  Please contact us at Labyrinthforpeace@gmail.com if you would like to be included on the invite list.  All are welcome.

The story of Labyrinth for Peace

This labyrinth came into being because a rototiller hit a root and the operator, who shall remain unnamed, lost control of the machine.  In deciding what to do with the rototilling mistake, a joke was made about turning the front yard into a labyrinth. We often walk local labyrinths, but the closest public labyrinth is 15 minutes away at OSU in the Lane Avenue Gardens. So, we had a great time creating the labyrinth, visiting with neighbors, learning about landscaping, and building body confidence each step of the way.
